Course and Event Terms
Eligibility and Behaviour

Participants must be over 18 years of age and provide photographic ID unless otherwise agreed upon prior to booking.

2. Behaviour Expectations:

Safe and respectful behaviour is mandatory at all times.

If a participant’s behaviour is deemed unsafe, unruly, or argumentative, they will be asked to leave immediately and forfeit all fees for current and future courses.
Booking and Payments
1. Payment Terms:

Full payment is required before the start of any course or event.

Bookings are final, and refunds are not offered under any circumstances.
2. Non-Transferable Bookings:

Once a course is confirmed, the booking is non-transferable and non-refundable, regardless of the circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to, illness, emergencies, or scheduling conflicts.

3. Alterations and Cancellations:

We reserve the right to alter course dates, times, locations, and content or to cancel courses due to unavoidable or unforeseen circumstances.

In the event of cancellation by Firearm Training for Film & TV, participants will be offered an alternative date or course credit.
Media and Intellectual Property
1. Photography and Filming Restrictions:

No photography, filming, or covert recording is permitted during courses or events.

All media captured during courses is the sole property of Firearm Training for Film & TV.
2. Showreel Footage:

Only footage demonstrating safe firearm handling will be supplied to participants.
Safety and Certification
1. Personal Release and Declaration:

Participants must sign a Personal Release form and a declaration under Section 21 of the Firearms Act 1968 upon arrival.
2. Safety Standards and Certification:

Certificates will only be issued to participants who demonstrate a clear understanding of the content and adhere to safe firearm handling standards.

Non-Competition and Intellectual Property Use
1. Use of Course Content and Materials:

All course content, materials, techniques, and methodologies provided during Firearm Training for Film & TV courses or events are the exclusive intellectual property of Firearm Training for Film & TV.

Participants may not reproduce, distribute, share, or use any course content, in whole or in part, for commercial purposes without prior written consent from Firearm Training for Film & TV.

2. Non-Competition Clause:

By booking and attending a course or event, participants agree not to establish a competing business offering similar firearm training services for film, television, or other industries for a period of three (3) years after completing the course.

This clause applies globally to ensure the protection of proprietary content, methods, and brand reputation.
3. Breach of Non-Competition Clause:

If a participant is found to have violated the non-competition clause by establishing a competing business or using course content commercially without consent, they agree to:

Cease all related business activities immediately upon written notice.
-
Pay 50% of the revenue generated from unauthorised activities to Firearm Training for Film & TV as compensation for the breach of agreement and loss of business.
4. Monitoring and Enforcement:

Firearm Training for Film & TV reserves the right to monitor compliance with this non-competition clause and to pursue legal action if necessary to protect its intellectual property and business interests.
5. Exclusions:

Participants wishing to use the training for professional development as actors, stunt performers, or industry professionals may do so provided it does not involve teaching or commercialising the training content.
Liability
1. Participant Responsibility:

Firearm Training for Film & TV is not liable for injury, damage, or loss sustained during participation in courses or events.

Participants are responsible for their personal belongings; we are not liable for any loss or damage to property.
Force Majeure
Firearm Training for Film & TV shall not be held liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
